Alex Mitchell, Head of Influencer Relations IoD to visit Hull

Alex Mitchell, Head of Influencer Relations IoD is  to visit Hull on Monday 15th November to support Global Entreprenurship Week in the City he will attend the Hull Challenge with pupils from Malet Lambert school and international motivationall speaker Miles Hilton Barber.


As Head of Influencer Relations at the IoD, Alex’s role entails close liaison with IoD members and the wider business community on subjects ranging from leadership, entrepreneurialism and climate change to innovation, technology and global markets. Alex is the IoD’s representative on a number of groups and panels including the UKTI’s Asia Task Force, the Joint Economic and Trade Committee (JETCO) for India, and an Ambassador for Global Entrepreneurship Week. He is also one of the private sector representatives on the Volunteering England Employers Action Group, he is a member of the External Advisory Board and up until 2009 Alex sat on the Department for Business Enterprise and Regulatory Reform’s Inspirational Leadership Steering Group.
Alex was formally at the Confederation of British Industry (CBI), where he worked in roles ranging from International Researcher to briefing the Director General on FTSE 350 member companies.
