Further endorsements - Global Entrepreneurship Week 2010 in Hull

"Being an entrepreneur can be daunting, exciting, exhausting and, if you're
successful, rewarding in equal measure. The excellent programme at the
Global Entrepreneurship Week 2010 in Hull will give young people the
information and inspiration to make their journey less daunting and more
likely to succeed. Good luck and remember to share the lessons you learn so
we can all be better entrepreneurs."

"During times of budget reductions and financial uncertainty entrepreneurship
is more important than ever, especially in Hull as we have a great number of budding young entrepreneurs. As a young entrepreneur myself I believe Global Entrepreneurship Week to be of great significance in helping nurture enterprising young people, giving them the advice and connections they need to start their own business."

"Mail News & Media is once again proud to be a major supporter of Global Entrepreneurship week. As a business that has been at the heart of the
local community for over 125 years, we recognise the importance of young
people to the future of our city. Encouraging young people to be innovative, creative and passionate, whilst providing them with the skills and understanding of running a business is key to a talented and ambitious future workforce."

" I recall a Business Education Day during Bizweek some years ago where
Simon Woodruffe, creator of the "YO" brand (as in Yo Sushi") was      trying, and succeeding, in inspiring a group of young students. He pointed out
that when he stands in a classroom in China and asks the question "How many of you would like to start your own company ?", almost every hand went up. In the UK the same question prompted a very poor response. In Hull this is changing and all thanks to events like "Global Entrepreneurship Week". I am continually astounded by the talent we have in our young people. The city has an exemplary track record in achievement and we in the business sector must continue to support and encourage our young entrepreneurs in every way that we can. They are our future ! "
