The City Councils Hull Training in partnership with Jobcentreplus, Cityworks and some of Hull’s young entrepreneurs have established a hot desk facility that is an integral part of the City’s Youth Enterprise Club based at Hull Training in Kingston House on Bond Street and it is available to young entrepreneurs in the City. The facility will be open 5 days a week 9am till 2pm though it can be booked for longer, young people will also have the opportunity to book a room to use as a meeting space. At the Centre young people will also be able to under take an ILM Level 2 Award in Preparing for Business Enterprise which is aimed at giving young people the ability to assess their own suitability for starting and running an enterprise and to assist you in your decision making. The qualification has a minimum of 9 guided learning hours which will need to be completed through tutorial support and some element of self study by you. Assessment will be via a Reflective Log which will be completed following the course delivery.

Out of all of the City’s, I have worked in Hull are the best at engaging real entrepreneurs, successful business and partnering them with the young people. I believe if I had have been brought up in Hull and had the privilege to experience what the Hull Youth Enterprise Partnership offers I would have been successful at an even earlier age.
